  1. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/sapbsbs/signatures 289 signed this hardly a drop in the water the ipetions arent very good get duplicate signings and need a paper petion with names and address on 700 signed ones via bhw were handed in with no response , needs to be done through unions and sent to each club via unions then clubs can give one to each member to get names on ectra , that would be the only way to get a bulk of signitures , other avenues is to start a song bird group ectra out linning how many birds are on the red list and the R.S.P.B are the very ones putting them on it as there only intrested in bops

  15. trap your birds to a galley pot with a small amount of white dari no more than a teaspoon full in there boxes soon as that trap / door is open they know its there then feed them hopefully your trapping will improve , and as phil says measure there feed out on some scales and feed in a empty pickstone pot in middle of floor , i like to see my birds compete for there feed once stopped feeding remove food never leave food in loft unless rearing but if rearing you wont have as much control , all the best Regards Mark

    OLD BIRDS

i agree that some birds improve as they get older but they would have shown there capabilitys by been flown and still there to live another day had two distance cocks last year as yearlings ok they homed , but they will have that experience as two year olds and will be allowed to mature if dont perform this year i certainly wont be giving them a third year , most of my best birds have shown themselves as yearlings and greatly improved as 2 year olds
  23. white dari on return from exercise each day they'll trap like bullets
  24. it all depends on yer birds and your race programme and where you live idealy i like distance yearlings to go to 400 miles 2 year olds to 500 3 years old 600+
