  3. with fancy birds they dont like alot of the bigger beans and pulses ,they prefer small maples , mung beans , tares , popcorn maize , paddy rice and wheat and dari and a very small amount of linseed
  4. what brand is your first mix ???? sunflower seeds will put fat on birds hence why there use sparingly in mixes , what type of pigeon are you feeding ???

  18. alot of the continental fanciers do same thing they stroke and tease the birds on nest so by time they get moved there pretty tame anyway
  19. well if you havent got a pair of both sexes then maybe wise to let them hatch the eggs as may of been fertilised by other birds where you bought them

  22. it takes time to gain the birds confidence then you have to learn a technique where you catch them firm but gentily , rember the birds first thought is there been attacked by a pediter , all movements in a loft should be slow and you should always be calm
  23. best not to catch whilst feeding otherwise they wont get tame because they'll associate eating with been caught catch them in there boxes

    Old lofts bring with them alot of nastys if you get one disinfect before using at least with a self build you can build exactly as you want
