  1. East Coast fed liberated at 8.30 when did yours go ????
  2. You certainly don't hear or see of transporters crashing , totally gutted for anyone who sent there birds for this to happen to them , a sad day for all , I hope the majority of the birds are well and in good health , and hope no others were seriously hurt in the tragic accident
  3. with this mist on hills be better waiting till midday to get a bit of warmth out of the sun and burn it off also willl help the birds with the easterly wind Hope you all have a good race with good returns
  4. East to East south east wind ( variable ) between 2 and 9 mph Sun Has burnt through in places high hills still have a bit of haze , feels cold though temp currently 11 degrees I actually thought weather was going to be far worse today Hope you all get a good race with good returns

  14. your doing a great job well done
  15. would make perfect sense
  16. Makes sense to get a young partner and show them the ropes but as we all know most aren't interested in birds with feathers , and not everyone gets the pigeon mags , can't he get a partnership with a club mate ???? make more sense using local paper than pigeon mags
  17. Seem to have good taste in pigeons they should do well for ya
  18. A Sputnik type trap is ideal to get your young birds looking out so can see there surroundings , then much easier when coming to let them out , my advise would be to leave loft door open fer last hour on a night less chance of bop attacks and birds will explore and wander and will be easier to get in as dusk approaches . As for strains don't worry about them , two types of pigeons good uns and bad uns , however it all depends what your racing goals are . I would of advised to get some sprint based birds , and raced these for a few years to get an idea how to go on . All the best for racing
  19. put an elastic band around his legs ensuring he can walk about and can be mobile , if he can't spread his legs he can't fight so will calm down , however you can use these type of loft situations to your advantage and use it to motivate the old cock
