good couple of interesting posts,, ill bet the birds that won on may 13th won a lot more after that,, in my opinion a lot of fanciers [usualy from keenness] make the mistake of taking too much out the birds too early in the season

i would say ,depends on the time , money , and space you have, but its much easier to concentrate on a small number of class pigeons

pairing my birds up, would depend on the system and races i was tending to go for .ie mating w,cocks in jan and letting them rear and sit no longer than 9,,10 days on the second round eggs, they would hold their flights , but sitting longer than that after rearing , would be far too advanced in the moult for the later races, if racing natural and intending going for the later, longer races i woudnt pair up till april,[ approx 10 weeks b4 intended long race] by long races i mean from 5 to over 600 miles, but as usual theres allways exeption to the rule :)

i would always leave a drinker in for them , whilst on darkness system,, as to whether they take ,or need a drink? , at least its there for them, but the hours of darkness are going to be no more or less during the comming weeks , and even worse when its been freezing , they have to wait on you changing it :)

i have this stuff [as i was given it free ;D] doesnt tell you much on the bottle 500 ml,,,,,,,ingredients aqua,,[water] and 4% orego stim liquid,,,,,remarkable racing,,,better breeding,naturally , thats all it says on the bottle, apart from ,,meridian ,animal health , how much was it marky? if you dont mind me asking

i should imagine ace that the quicker you put an appeal or letter explaining ,, the better within [7 days say] i dont know your rules,, i also see that the secy is the fed president , if there was a meeting held by the fed ,concerning this i should suggest that as your club secy is the fed president,he should take no part in the meeting ,,and the vice president take over.
