sometimes we post away, [me included] without the thought[ un-intentional] of our other members etc ,, taking all for granted , some maybe ill, some going through hard times, some dis-abled , the list can go on,, maybe we [and i] should consider our other freinds and members,,,,,,,, most are too proud to want their name mentioned ,,,,but a kind word goes a long way in these days of bickering ,unrestfullness and sometimes, even selfishness , even a wee word to" the man above" can do wonders , but a kind word goes a long way. to any of our members going through such , i would just like to say god bless, and certainly hope things change for the better

yes,, off course this does apply but there is a limit to what one person can both look after, and give full justice to,,,,when it goes to the other end of the scale, there are some, even , inexperienced fliers trying to fly more than 100 yb,s,] with about the same amount of o,bs] i really believe is asking for trouble , which they would soon find out,,far too many for one man to give justice to,,,,,,,,, off course we have the fanciers who have the money, have the space, can pay for help.. and usually sell pigeons , but these can still be beaten by the wee man if their pigeon minded and shrewd enough

mods can be unwell mods can have family illnesses mods have other worries also please try and help by posting posts on relevent " slots" also would help reading forum rules ,, most adhere to this ,, but there are the odd ones that flaunt these , no one looks for perfection , thats understandable , but only ask under these circomstances , that we remember that this forum is more than just the" main page " thankyou

maybe a little story,, one member i know very well, had 7 racing obs ,,,,7 racing ybs,, sent 3 to 1 ob national ,,three on result,1,2,3 fed ,,,,,, sent 1 to yb national 1 on result,,3d fed against fanciers sending 10,,,,,20,,,,30 even more,, then jealousy sinks in ,, not good

all sales etc ,, MUST be approved by webmaster,,, moderator ,, in charge grizzle_hen,,, webmaster is the boss,,, he decides,,,,,,,,end of allthough many well meaning members and thoughts ,,, can only lead to "flame war"....look in rules,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, locked

pigeontracker picked up birds approx 9 30,[manchester], in my hands approx 12 mid night[edinburgh] same day,, but they phoned to see i fit was ok to deliver at that time first which off course it was

i see no reason for fanciers to play devils advocate, as duncan often does ,, yes lots of his points are very valid,, some not so valid , but we all have our own minds and all are different , thats just part of life,, but if this company pigeontracker is doing their utmost , to my mind can do no more.. maybe a little help and encouragement from the fanciers would help,, as really to be really honest and forthright ,,we need decent couriers, and if we dont get them soon i,e from feb on,,, when y. pigeons, i,e any type,, show ,,racer,, fancy,, etc will be sold and bought,, strays returned etc , will be going up and down the country like mad ,, we, the fanciers will be in a real rut,,, bearing in mind [allthough doesnt effect me,, for the moment anyway] racing fanciers not being able to claim their strays within the stipulated time limit , will find themselves suspended [probably being of no fault of the fancier ] but rules are rules ,, and this would certainly happen. pigeon tracker ,as far as im concerned is doing a great job , we, the fanciers should appreciate that ,, and show it , encourage it [cause welle get it cheaper when in full flow ;D] most of the fanciers have been for pigeontracker and very few against , this cannot be bad , as all can have their say,,,amtrack and interlink are gone , no ifs or buts , so lets face it were in a desperate situation,,, pigeontracker has proved the best so far, so long this may continue

many years ago i had a few fancy pigeons,, dragoons and show racers , even crossed both > had a cross dragoon fly 250 miles ;D but did enjoy the shows and company,, when racing w,hood these birds were handy for bringing up some of the better eggs [or from the better racers but brought a lot of fun in the winter months,,] one very top national flying judge remarked, after, giving a first, to a 2yearold ;D "ill bet that bird has scored over the water [the channel]" ;D im afraid the only water it could fly over ,,,,,,,,was the burn ;D ;D ;D,,true ;D,,,,,,,,,, but they did give me fun , both judging and showing [but goes to prove , looks aint everything when racing ;D]

probably the main things we need in racing pigeons ,,,are things that money cant buy,, knowledge on pigeons [its actualy fun , learning,,,,and that never ever stops ;D] methods of pigeon racing, systems, learning about your own birds , in fact all you can on learn on pigeons , can be obtained ,all free , if keen enough,,, , as far as the dipping in to your pocket [or what you can afford] all depends on yourself ,,some fanciers have paid thousands for pigeons , equipment etc,,, but if your shrewd enough, all this can be aquired quite cheaply,, loft is the first thing ,,look in the yellow sales paper ,or on pb. anywhere ," garage free for the uplifting" with a little work done , a great loft can be converted from the likes of this ,, most clubs are now getting lottery grants for clocks etc supplied ,, any decent member would soon find you a clock , even free , pigeons can be aquired very easily in fact , but maybe patience is the game here , as good well bred pigeons are needed, but theres many good racing fanciers would give you late breds actually bred from winners absolutely free, [with patience could breed a fantastic team of birds], as the old sunday school chorus used to go, "the wise man built his house upon the rock" this is true,, by befriending the real fanciers , not the ones winning races in the pub, more pints the more races theve won ;D fees can be expensive in some clubs ,, but over the course of a year its not too bad per week , birdage can be dear,,that can be cut by sending less, but better quality ,,[it only takes one to win a race ] beleive me ive prooved that ;D,, also, less birds [more quality]=less feeding and possibly more winning ,,, pools themselves are optional,, so the answer to your question is ;D if your shrewd enough,, keen enough,, all can be done quite cheaply , against any other hobby yes ill give you a pair of free yb,s next year ,,for racing ;D ;D ;D joking ,,but true ;D good luck
