i honestly belive a lot will depend on where we got our birds from we have all seen the big fancy lofts some now have automatic cleaning or a fancier that full time cleaning drinkers the floor and so on well i don't belive u can take these into a environment where the loft is not cleaned as there constitution and imuinine system is not as strong how long would it take taking birds to excel from this clean environment to a deep litter system my own opinion would be generations could be wrong or course that why im not overly clean but do clean out but always when buying in look for lofts that are not to fancy

never herad of them mate but i allways give the same advice who is geting results in your fed in a bad area with a small loft backgarden fanicer then ask for some late breds forget about repuations sorry off topic but sometimes the best birds can be in your fed

pigeons are great at healing themselves a lot of the time probably just best to make sure the bird wound is clean and a little rub down of antiseptic

hard to know without seeing it should have no problems rearing young ones but flying well hard one to know really without seeing the damage to be honest a lot would depend on how far u are expecting the bird to fly probably best for the bird as a breeder cant see any problems there
