Tell you what i'm at the highest point in Hamilton and if the sun does'nt get out quickly and start to burn this mist away i think we'll be struggling to get a race today as the visibility is'nt good at all just now :(

wE GOT A BAD UN ON OUR TRAINING VAN LAST SATURDAY WHEN JUST ABOUT EVERYONE ON IT HAD BAD RETURNS BUT HEY IT HAPPENS AND YOU HAVE TO GET ON WITH IT AS IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN & AGAIN STARTED TRAINING 47 AND NOW DOWN TO 32 BUT THEY WILL BE GOING TO MOST OF THE RACES UNLESS WE HAVE BIG LOSSES AGAIN AT MY PLACE : :-/

If doos are ill then i would get rid of Dovescot and yes i have read all the posts but maybe he's flogging a dead horse trying to make them right again

I've had some really good looking birds that were never any good (as has probably 100% of us ) but in my loft if they dont race well then they dont stay I'm only trying to save the boy from a lot of heartache in my opinion as i dont think his birds will be any good now but if he wants more y/b's for next year just drop me a pm and i'll get him sorted out with a few y/b's to get him started racing

y/b's that are'nt right in my experience are never any good keep a note of the 1's that get i'll and see how they do in y/b or if they last as old birds not a lot as they are lacking after becoming ill

Not having a dig at all Dovescot but i know that a y/b that is not right wont last long racing thats a fact mate They may look ok but once you start training them they just have'nt got it thats why i said best to get rid of them it's the only way and i am talking through my own experiences here

The way i see it if a y/b is ill then it's a sign of weakness and it is moved on ..no questions asked no matter what it's bred from or who by if it isnae right then it goes end of story! I want fit and healthy racing pigeons not doos that i can sit and admire all the time otherwise i would'nt be racing them at all

Only speaking through what i have seen in my time in pigeons and if they are as bad as he says get rid of ASAP and start again is the only way!
