This is one i can relate to ::)Took all my young birds for there 1st toss 6 or 7 years ago only took them to Sthrathclyde country park(roughly 2 miles away).40 young birds and 1 old bird that had flown most races for the previous 3 years and slept out once at Sartilly when he came the next day!Result 40 young birds home when i got back to the loft and still to this day no old bird : : :( Needless to say i have never took another old bird when training my young birds

Heard today that there is around 1500 birds at snfc Alencon.Down about 700 birds on last year but that is hardly a surprise if all the feds are losing as many pigeons as we in Lanarkshire are :(

Would'nt rely too much on your source there Bart coz it was raining in maidstone early morning thats why the birds could'nt go earlier And no am not an official of the fed ;D ;D ;D
