a lot around just now, but if just fed watered, and fit, could home if tossed up. i got a bird in (old birds) from Edinburgh , as soon as it dropped in it was put in a basket with feed and water, got in touch with the owner, kept that bird for 2 weeks until it was fit, took it to the Forth bridge and let it go, that bird homed, got another in this time from Boston, got in touch with the owner I explained what I would do, he agreed, had the bird for over a week, (but never in the loft) it was picked up at a local;l garage, and they phoned me, took it to the Forth bridge and let it go, this bird homed as well, i believe you should always give a fit bird a chance to home,
