North Of Scot Update For Ripon 09/06/18

GUYS HERE IS THE LATEST UPDATE

given that we had no race last weekend and a very poor one the week before and with strong ne winds forecast i thought it best that we have our race from ripon this week instead of worksop, basketing is going ahead at ripon pick up times, 18 birds per crate and first message will be 08.00 saturday

Alan any idea what is happening for the remaining races?

Paul I think there will be an e-mail coming out offering to follow the prog as it would be I e extending it by 1 week or the alternative is miss out the come back race all secretary's to discuss with their members in my opinion think it would be best to extend by 1 wk but this is not cast in stone but this will be known after Sunday which way we are going hope this helps

I would be all for dropping the comeback race as my only worry would be folk who have booked holidays that could be a real issue and the 3 week break passed at the agm would mean stunting the yb programme back?

 

I am sure common sense will prevail though. Let's hope we get a good end to the season whatever the outcome.

Your right Alan there was a email come through to the club secs to discuss which option they prefer 1 being finish the program and hav a 2 week break after the old birds finish the other being miss the come back Alnwick and hav a 3 week break after the old birds finish. We have to forward the a email the the fed sec on Sunday stating how much of each club members want to do either option me personally will be voting for finishing the program and having a 2 week break.
