BLACK W F Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 should go as far as 300 mls Sammy pair a red or a mealey to a black you will get barl mealeys and these colours in this family
sammy Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 should go as far as 300 mls Sammy pair a red or a mealey to a black you will get barl mealeys and these colours in this family cheers allan ;)just that all achiel lewis pigeons i have seen are either black/drk ch and blues
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 lots of mealy and blacks in the leus family and these are mainly sprint but i have had them win up too 487 miles .
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 all my best achiel leus pigeons have been mealys
whiteknight Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 REMI DE MEY, crosses this family in to his and does very well cracking looking hens .
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 you will also find the base pigeon for j p geveart is a leus pigeon called zwart leteliar
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 zwarte kateliar sorry about my spelling lol
Guest beautyhomer Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 should go as far as 300 mls Sammy pair a red or a mealey to a black you will get barl mealeys and these colours in this family Pairing a black to a red or a mealy will not breed you a barless mealy. What you will get is an ash red spread.Although they look similar to a true barless mealy you will NEVER be able to breed a barless blue from them.
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 if it has no bars and is mealy in my book its a barless mealy
Guest beautyhomer Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 But genetically it is not and i would not be happy if sold one only to breed blacks when paired to a blue
BLACK W F Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 i used to pair my blacks to mealeys and reds and they used to have no bars so i called them barl mealeys and they sure looked like them
jakjak Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Posted November 8, 2009 wots with your green caveman and the sign?
Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 if it looks like a barless mealy what other colour can it be . so what am i ment to put on my race sheet or prize cards when they win ? looks like a barless mealy but hes not really???? if he looks like a barless maely its got to be a barless mealy and dont worry im not going to sell you one and there not there trying to breed barless blues there in my loft to race
BLACK W F Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 its an advert for a barl mealey sorry Adam could not resist
Guest beautyhomer Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 i used to pair my blacks to mealeys and reds and they used to have no bars so i called them barl mealeys and they sure looked like them Agree with you that they look like barless mealies but they do not have the barless pattern gene so cannot breed barless blues. The barless gene is recessive to check and bar. I am not saying people are trying to deceive anyone just that they are describing them wrong.
