alex wight Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 My 46 young birds, had their first full day out today since i moved house. The count tonight is 44 in the loft and 2 on the roof, am i a happy bunny or what. The reason i still have 46 is because i thought i would be moving house after the season, but we moved earlier. I tried my hardest to train them from this garden before i moved and it has paid divedends. It is a joy to be able to sit and watch them pick about in the garden once more, now once they re settled i,ll start to winter train them, ready for next year. As the season is all but over i,ve got 7 months to get them tuned up. A special thanks to mook Honeyman who kept an eye out for them at my old address, and did the honours of flagging 5 that had decided to pay a visit, thanks again mate.

alex wight Posted September 13, 2008 Author Report Posted September 13, 2008 Cheers Gary and phil. Its going to a long 7 months with no reflection on 2008, but the shows and Blackpool will help to break it up a bit. Getting the new loft on monday, and sorting the garden out to suit will keep me busy too. Stroll on 2009, lol.
