Guest IB Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Hi, One of our club mates, Ian Miller has finished up this year, due to ill-health. His birds are all gone, but his loft remains and is FREE to anyone who will uplift it and its base, consisting of 15 wooden railway sleepers. It is described by one viewer as 'a cracking loft'. It stands 18" off the ground and is 24' long. This is an 18' loft with 6' extension built on, so the length can be altered. Note that everything must be removed and the site left tidy. If you are interested, call Martin Conlin on 07745052200 (he works long hours so phone around 8pm weekdays please).

W.D. Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Hi IB,Sorry to hear that Ian has to give up the birds, he was a very good fancier, and I hope that whoever gets the loft has as much pleasure with it as he had,and hopefully as many 1st prizes?! He was one of the fed's top flyers for years. Please give mine and my Dad's regards to him if you see him and hope that he's soon on the mend. Regards,Wullie Young.
cemetary Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Am only joking mate, i am looking for another hut for my mate, so i will not see him until tommorrow. Am the same, if he goes for it, fine, but its like a lot of huts that come up for free, etc, its the distance that puts people of.
cemetary Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 I have a place on the rig to keep the strays i catch, i would like to build better, but cant get away with that, am working on it though.
cemetary Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Hope you doo get a good crack at it mate, i will watch for them, we better stick to the topic, or we will be getting told off, the auld yin is on, and his beedy eyes will be watching us. Yes as long as its a petron loft with all the kit in it, electronic boxes etc.
cemetary Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 Never heard mate, some pics may shift it though if you can get them to show the forum members.
