andyyy Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 This year I've reported a few birds no one gives a Damn about them, had a yb drop tonight rung the telephone the lady asked me to chuck it up didn't ask where it was or nothing.. explained that it was in no fit state to fly home (about 25 - 30miles) she said she'd get her husband to call me which he did, asked me the same thing so I told him that it was really flown down and needed a few days, he asked me to despose of it.. is that really the attitude we should be having?
Mattydoos79 Posted July 27, 2017 Report Posted July 27, 2017 There was once a program that's shown years ago it's an animal welfare one, showing that some fanciers kill some that are no use to them, or tell people to get rid. Also about the channel racing some drown in the sea. Don't get me wrong I love this hobby and I care about the welfare of my pigeons and I would encourage new fanciers to care for their doos, hate the thought of killing I only kill if it's really sick and I don't kill healthy ones cos some babies from healthy ones can have good racing in them.
