ann m Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Hi I am writing a message of thanks to all you great guys out there who raised so much money for Phoebes auctions.I am DMs wife who is on the lifeboat with Alasdair in Oban.It gives me great pride to tell people what you guys have done for a little girl you do not even know. The family of Phoebe pass on their thanks as well and can I just add that I think Alasdair is a great guy for the way he has got all you bird guys backing him with the auctions.I still have not embraced the idea of keeping pigeons but after seeing how you guys operate I might be tempted but do not hold your breath. May God bless you all for your compassion and kindness to our darling Phoebe. regards Ann Matheson x

ally mac Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I am happy to to carry on and do what we can. I actually had a wee idea that I might have a wee race with my own birds. I have 24 YBs trained out to 50 miles. I thought if I could sell 24 tickets for £10. Toss the birds from down the road, first home gets £50 prize money the rst goes to Phoebe. A wee bit of fun could be had and money raised at the same time. Al.
