BBC news at five this morning tells of fancier being approached by members of ISIS in part of Syria and told to keep birds in loft and if out,do not whistle on them.

Its something to do with religious ferverts some fanciers have had their birds killed some have been killed also for not doing as they are told on the matter .Seemingly not allowed to have birds that they like love displacing love from he who will shut up do as your told or else ,u know politics , religion with guns is always messy

Amongst other issues I believe keeping pigeons restricts the time available for prayer.

 

Having said that many high flying breeds originate in these countries.

Also they suspect pigeon fanciers of using their birds to communicate with others whilst not at prayers ...Spying etc the megla mind is very inventive in its madness ...
