Before letting out they must not be too hungry, or they won't leave the loft for long waiting for their feed. Neither should they be over fed and lazy.

But why does one want to see their pigeons zooming about tearing up the skies? Better, surely, that energy would be put to better use on race days!

You could maybe try adding some Barley to the mix?

I know what you mean though, started to do similar this year due to BOP trouble both at home and when training. Started them off at 20 mins, can now get 45 without too much trouble. I would persevere, but like the other lads said you have to get the timing right re- feeding etc.
