That's our first eggs from our stock bird eggs laid yesterday and was thinking of storing them till our widows lay next week ,anybody tried storing eggs and how successful was it

Would it no be better to let the sit till the eggs turn then float?

Did'nt expect them to lay so quick and the widows have not layed yet ,was wanting to get the eggs under some of the pairs that we aren't taking youngsters off

Ah ok.........3/4 days would be ok. Failing that stick them in egg box's etc.....Walter Boswells seems to be the man for egg storage

As Steven says Watty is the man to ask. In my own experience taking them away immediately and turning them every day then floating them worked, but NOT 100% so best ask Watty he's defo the man for this.
