Gav-87 Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 What time would youngbirds start to settle down for the night at this time of year? Just curious as whilst i have been out in the garden on a evening watching some of the locals birds circling the sky and with it still been really warm at the minute do you wait until it turns abit cooler before getting them out? What would be the latest time you let them out in an evening this time of year? Like i say am just curious to know the different opinions Thanks Gav

Gav-87 Posted June 30, 2015 Author Report Posted June 30, 2015 Haha ok thanks for your reply. Thought there might of been one or two more opinions put up
Darnaway Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 I would suggest 1800/1900 although to be honest as pigeons are creatures of habit ideally you would let them out the same time each day weather permitting imo
philg50 Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 If it is to hot don't train youngsters ,and yes they can be trained in evening, release time depending on distance of toss ,back of tea time I will take 10-12 mile I think it gives them less time to muck about on coming home ,just IMO.
