greenbar Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 2 year ago, we had one, still waitng on 10 to this day,
eastcoaster Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 Read a book about distance fanciers and Geoff cooper lets his ybs have open hole from weaning no matter the weather and even on race day the ones they lose they are not clever enough to be in race team , even the ones the bop get is a learning curve for the rest .Personally I had one last year ended up losing 10 all had been on wing for weeks . Trying the cooper theory this year .
hawked again Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 Got half a dozen youngens gone off the loft today ,is this still comman been out the game a while first year with ybs last year lost none off the loft., Sorry to hear that Barry. As you know I tend to keep mine in till they're a few months old, some times two or three disappear for two or three days then appear again. It's a good learning curve for the returners. I only have nine this year and they were about four months old when I finally let them out, one was AWOL for the best part of a week but returned again. Hope you get them back, I've seen none amongst mine.
