Has anybody used sticky back hessian for lining baskets

if so what's your opinion

we bought a wicker basket of e-bay,the hession was all torn and worn plus covered in sh**,we we relined with hession sand bags bought at b&q,3 for a £1 and stiched it in using a darning needle, lovely job,

did not even know you could get it with sticky back alex must be worth a try

We used to use a glue gun to stick the hessian Alex. Piece of pi.. this way and done in fraction of time.
