Mossgiel Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 A lot of years ago there was an organisation known as the Thoroughbred Racing Pigeon Association [TRPA ]. I believe it worked similarly to the Kennel Club, registering breeding particulars etc. My knowledge on the TRPA is very limited, but would be interested if anyone has any information on how it operated and the reason/s for it disbanding.

Local fancier john cushley of blanefield who flew in the campsie club for many years was a member and had all his TA WARRINGTON birds registered with the above, maybe a site member has johns no as he gave up racing a few years ago,if you really wanted it I would make enquires.
Novice Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I believe Matt Cowan of Saltcoats was also a member of this organisation. His son Lindsay still races and is a member of the Clyde Coast Club in Ayrshire. He may have some information.
