Agree with you Don, but what is happening here is just a wee bit more than personal opinion now. Jimmy White as moderator took off a thread which he considered in bad taste ... elements of guns and paramilitary which clearly has no place on this forum. If the webmaster disagreed the thread would be back up. Nuff said there. Level playing field is an oft-heard cry here too. Not so long ago a similar post on paramilitary was put up and taken off for the same reason ... with absolutely no complaint either about its removal or the moderator wot did it. The heading of this thread is code of conduct ... which states amongst other things 'that the moderator acts ... and his / her word is final and without need of explanation. Yet explanations are given. So what right have members who have read the code of conduct to continue past behaviour, and in one case at least ask that a moderator be removed ... for doing the job???? Much of what is happening on here is symptomatic of what is wrong in pigeons in Scotland if not the UK ... imho ...
