going over to vacinate and canker the new birds jim got from the guy he bought the loft from i picked out 9 pair for him 16 yearlings one 2year old and an old stock cock i liked the birds had been neglected due to the guy working away all the time but if there paired up and broken they will give jim something to play with and gain experience in the coming season along with his wee team of late breds its been a hard slog for us both as we are both not fit for it ive been over every morning before going to work for a few hours and he has been working at it all day just a few perches to cut to size for the last section then paint the outside and emultion inside and its done just to get three sputnics when he has the money and its all sorted im getting a kick out of helping to make someones dream come true of having his own loft and team of pigeons and he is such a nice guy hope he has many years of enjoyment from them as i have its great to help someone thats so keen his wife and daughter are going to paint the inside today now theres devotion for you long may it last lol

Well done all. I am still struggling away with mine. Hope to have it ready for 2015 YB's. :)

yer to far away or jim and i would come through and give you a shift or two m8 surely someone around you could give you a wee hand

Well done to you Walter, as you say its a feel good factor when your able to help and get someone set-up so that they can enjoy this great hobby. Its also a bonus when you can get the family involved also :animatedpigeons:

Thanks for your offer Walter, but time is the problem. I have a neighbour whom I am able to call on when required and the kids lend a hand as well. I am too busy ferrying kids to different clubs, etc, so the loft has to take 'back seat'. At least I have structure in place now, after around 5 years planning, so it will continue, at a pace. :)

been there pal family has to come first always well after the doos that is lol we could not get much done to the outside of jims loft with the weather so we done two sections of the inside with emulsion before we both started to feel the pain so we left one section for the ladies to do tomorrow
