I'm always sceptical using oil based products due to rancidification http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rancidification

 

does it have a shelf life once opened?

Personally I think its brilliant,also started using some of the other Carrs products this year,had the best young bird season I,ve ever had in over 50 years winning 27 positions out of a possible 32 in the first 4,was it the Carrs products who knows but I will still carry on using them.

Cheers yes it is oil based,the last bottle I bought about 1 month ago says 13.08.2015.

Any herbal product usually has a slow effect and requires time to build. Even though it is in an oil based carrier, if stored correctly, it should be ok. I have used it before, but never noticed any difference.
