I was quoted £333 today to insure my Saab,made a phone call to my insurers and told them I had a better offer which was true.They immediately offered the same insurance for £254 obviously a saving of £80 just shows what a racket the insurance business is.So there you are gents do not accept the first offer, make call

Totally agree Walter. My son passed his driving test today, first time as a 17 year old. We phoned to get quotes for insuring him for my wife's 14 plate Fiat 500 and the quotes ranged from £3000 to £600..... guess which one we went for!

Certificates have also changed in the last couple of years if you bother to read them. It used to be that you were insured to drive any car if you had fully comp. Not any more. If I were you I would read to check, better than getting caught out.
