Pego Posted September 27, 2014 Author Report Posted September 27, 2014 Pego did u not also breed the 6th Scottish olr? Naw Thunderbigbaws aka (B Chalmers) bred the bird that lifted £5000 plus last year at the Scottish OLR. But seems like the FIFERS have been flying the flag for the DOO RUN syndicate. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: Just €500 this year tho.

fid Posted September 28, 2014 Report Posted September 28, 2014 Well, a was at the race ystday and my two are still flying lol, it turned out a very hard affair with only 309 on the shift. The birds hit a lot of thunderstorms in the north and the majority homed from the east coming out of Spain, ther was a great turnout and the atmosphere was electric [like the storms]I met some Scots ie Gareth Rankin and John Duthie and i think a Willie Mullen [wee guy pint in his hand lol] they all seemed to be having a good time and yes Del he bought me a pint lol. I hope they will come back nxt year and wern"t to dissapointed with the returns on a hard day as a lot more will be back in next day or so and this realy is probs the best OLR in europe.

And though the syndicate that i am a part of had no joy, it still was a good day out. Must have been around 1500 fanciers there from all over Europe. Well done to the doo run lads and Gary Peggie for breeding it. That will be Jim Cullen with the pint in his hand lolYip, believe Jim was giving singing lessons to the Germans...lol

tambla51 Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 Well done Danny and Billy Graham fae Uddingston 3rd UK 47th open, no many people from Lanarkshire congratulating Billy. :scotland: :emoticon-0138-thinking:
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 3, 2014 Report Posted October 3, 2014 Perhaps if fanciers from Lanarkshire new Billy had success then I'm sure they would not be long offering there congratultions. Willy done Billy Graham and Danny Henderson, first Scottish doo. Im going to try and organise for Scotland to be classified as it's own country rather than being under the UK, with this brings the benefits of the first Scottish team in race gaining a free entry for the following season valued at 500.00.
