Guest KENNY190 Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 I,M PRETTY SURE IT HAS TO BE AT THE A.G.M.
carlsberg Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 every club has their own rules but i think it must be done at a agm
Guest casbri Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 to open a boundary it must be done at a club general meetig
Guest Vic Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 Surely it must be taken to the fed or whatever first, and let the other affiliated clubs sort it, with you.
jimmy white Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 Can a club boundary be opened up at any meeting or does it have to be done at an agm?? i say it should be done at agm,,,,,but president can call an emergency meeting , and could be done this way ,,,,,,,,,,s h u
retired Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 Not sure how it works in Scotland but i know it has to be done at AGM within the RPRA boundary as i understood thouugh it works different for the NEHU so could well be different for you
Guest Vic Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 C,mon you Guys, you must be racing into wilderness. In Liverpool, (A really cultural place) every clubs radii etc overides into other clubs. So how can some other clubs extend their radii or what? without stepping on somebody elses shoes. This is here at the moment, but after the advent of the e.t.s . there will be very few shoes to tread on in the future. 1 mile east from the Mersey at Calderstones will be the future of the Amal or Fed And "Knowsley in the Future" lofts, including Kirkby will be left to the mercy of the of the St Helens and Widnes Guys. Nice to see the boot on the other foot , Aint it?

gangster Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 deffo agm and then approved at fed level as vics says so not infringing another clubs boundries..
THE FIFER Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Can a club boundary be opened up at any meeting or does it have to be done at an agm?? should be an agm, and as SHU rule 14, QUOTE: Each organisation must register the geographical area it covers, such area not to be exclusive to any single organisationn, ALTERATIONS TO BE APPROVED BY THE UNION> unquote, so you can alter them but before they come into force they must be approved by the union, and this could take time as it would have to be done at a shu council meeting, so its not a matter of having a meeting and altering the boundary there and then,
ALF Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 Went into the SHU office today just to clarify things re.. the boundary and it does officially need to be done at a club AGM.The reason i was wanting to know is we have had 2 new applications for membership of our club in the last few days and 1 of them is out of our boundary by half a mile or so
ALF Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 Sorry i should have said that if no one objects at a club meeting to opening the boundary then it is ok and it opens but if someone objects then it goes to the club AGM and i have just been informed that as president i can call an esgm with 7 days notice and have the opening up of the boundary on the agenda at it
Guest WINGS 04 Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 DO THEY FLY IN THE SAME SECTION IN THE FED THEN IT SHOULD NOT MATER IF IT WAS NOT FOR UDDINGSTON I WOULD NOT BE FLYING ANY MORE AS THE CLUBES IN MY ON SECTION WOULD NOT LET US IN
ALF Posted April 11, 2008 Author Report Posted April 11, 2008 Yes they do Rab 1 of them used to fly in our club and the other is about half a mile N/E of our boundary
HOMER49 Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Hi Club boundaries should be in your clubs constitution 2/3 majority sitg Homer 49
THE FIFER Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 according to shu rules the alteration to boundaries must be approved by the union, SHU rule 14, page 11, and boundaries must be registered with the shu,
Guest casbri Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 if no one objects at club meeting it is out of order..it can only be done at a club a.g.m....we did this at a club meeting at our club and got took to centre .and the club lost
