If a yb is hungry and packs itself with food then it ll sometimes show one or two grains in the crop in the morning. For me, this is acceptable and doesn't mean the bird has y.b.s. Basically imo, ybs should never be jam packed with food as it makes digestion harder for it.
Guest stb- Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 stb birds that still have feed in there crop the next morning look alright but lets face it they aint alrightlook m8 if my birds had feed in them the next morning and had been feed properly and not gorged that to me is part of not looking right ive seen birds retaining feed and ive no seen one that looks right to me so you widnt send em looking right means bright aleart flying well round home handling ok going into baskett etc if they fit that criteria they go to race but birds like that still aint comming home some weeks .
