thunderbigbaws Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 ive just read this thread and the proposal for the fees for the fife fed is to go from £63 up £150this to be advanced birdage giving the members free birdage up to 25 birds all races except open races. for to try and put the birdage up member only send less birds and the fed lose out again. the fed are only keeping there head above water, because of sales and make more than £1000 at there dance. but the members doing the moaning are the ones that dont suport these function. AS PER USUAL

sapper756 Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 At the end of the day, it,s the members who attend the AGM that will make the decision. so if people do not attend, then they only have themselves to blame for not taking the opportunity to have their say/vote
alex wight Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 As an idea. if the race programme, once decided, is going to cost £20,000. (for easy figures) to transport. This is covered by our 200 members = £100 each, then free birdage up to 25 birds, then 25p per bird thereafter. At least that way, our programme is covered no matter what the birdage is. Only an idea. and yes whatever may happen it will be decided on sunday.
cemetary Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 It will be a lot more than that ecky, there isnt as much members in the fed as 200. Better waiting until the meeting then put your thoughts through, as a lot of members dont have access to a computer for there views.

Alec , I am sure anything should be considered m8 and everybody should have their say, all that concerns me, is the numbers of fanciers calling it a day all over the UK. and I don,t want to see fanciers leaving the Fed because they can not afford to pay their way. We need to consider everybody and their circumstances. As I have said before, I can afford the £150, but then again I am in full time employment and am fortunate to be so, especially in this current credit climate. Whatever is decided, I for one will not be falling out with anyone over this, life is too short and this is my hobby which I enjoy very much

thunderbigbaws Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 can i ask your opinion on what if every member sent 6 birds to each race, the birdage would have to start at 40p for the 1st race and double its self each week.by the time we get to wakefield it would cost the members approx 95p a bird
