Ian McKay Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Hi Guy's Here is how I see it (may be wrong) but the problem is the future. May I ask some questions of the Fife members 1) How old is you trailer 1a) How old is the vehicle 2) Is the vehicle the correct size ie Birdage 3) Did the present officials inherit the vehicle 4) Do you contract a company to pull the vehicle 5) What is the fuel consumption. Drivers wages, insurance 5a) What do you spend on repairs / Testing 6) Would a new smaller vehicle be more economical 7) Would a new smaller vehicle suit your needs For the Federation to move forward you need to look at the above and assess the situation If you are running a vehicle which is far to large and losing money it is Ok to say we are ok but for how long can you keep that up. You should look at the weekly birdage and assess it against you weekly costs this may show where you lose the most money You should be planning for the future say from 2010 to 2020 I am sure if you plan and inform the members of this it will help with what they expect from the Federation Cheers Ian
cemetary Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Too much for me to answer. Am oot this one, but will be watching with interest.
Ian McKay Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Too much for me to answer. Am oot this one, but will be watching with interest. Why you should have a balance sheet
cemetary Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Ian, Phone the secretary for the information on your answers, you dont think for a minute that any member of the federation will post such details on here. lithgilad, can you answer him on any of the above, feel free.

Guest mr mrs arnold sons Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 may i reply to this the club and fed give you a price to fly pigeons old & young birds for that year so you pay it to race the birdage and transport are in that club agenda when you add up the total of birdage and fee to club and fed the race points have been decided birdage decided for that year so who wins members or club or fed
cemetary Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Contact the secretary about it then, they will be happy to post one to you, or even pick it up, they wont bite you, they will make you more than welcome.

Ian McKay Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 NO No No guys I am not asking for you to answer this on the forum I am suggesting your officials do this or form a committe This was how it was done in Aberdeen we worked together to try and answer some of these questions so once we had the answer we could then make decisions based on the correct information instead of blindly following on from year to year trying to block the hemmorage instead of repairing it If your officials inherited the problem why should they get the blame This is not about laying the blame at someones door it's about solving the problem You are the members it's your problem just try and give positive info to help the cause Some of the posts on here will never sort it out
sapper756 Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 so hows the bank balance then cemetary does it justafie a hike in fees only askin are you a member of the Fife Fed m8?
