alec guinness Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 A crazy idea Davie to say the least mate but it's up to the guys from section E to get their a@ses to the meeting and make sure they vote for the sections to stay the same... not just section e,dont think the few glasgow fed snfc members in places like clydebank, dumbarton & milton of campsie will be too keen, the proposer of this hopefully non starter never took geography at school. ;)

By the way, did you notice that their wasnt a proposer and seconder for the M section proposal.
Big Davie Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 i think you are 100% right Delboy, designed to get bums on seats, but these seats will have to be filled, ive thought before that proposals have had no chance of being adopted, but ive been proved wrong. The guys from section D are sure to want it so the section E members will have to attend to stop this going through.Said it on my first post on this subject cant see a proposer and seconder on resolutions sheet. Davie
jock3 Posted January 11, 2009 Author Report Posted January 11, 2009 i am from sec d i dont think its fair and will vote against it
Guest IB Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 I think Section M proposal may be Dr Lynch's thoughts on a new Centre Section. Was at a joint moot & meeting few years ago when various ideas were being put forward for an SNFC inland race programme because of bird flu restrictions, and he gave the basic idea of it then. Dr Lynch felt there was a need for a Centre section between East & West, because some of the Eastern section western boundaries were further west than some of the Western section eastern boundaries. For example some reckoned Stirling (east section) lay further west than Hamilton (west section). I would reckon it would be a new Centre Region too. Please note these are my thoughts on how this has come about, and not any definitive statement.
