suspended members?

i was out last night with my wife as its our anniversary today (23 yrs)  and never seen the thread about suspended members, i would like to post THE FACTS. THE  suspended members you are talking about are p.virtue,r.nisbet etc from east of scotland fed , FIRSTLY the fed had a meeting and decided to leave the SHU. the body of the hall instructed the secy to letter the secy of SHU to tell her that they do not recognise the shu as there gov /body . they were joining the rpra and had done so. (they were members of the rpra)  the SHU asked the officials to come to a meeting with the SHU , to which the fed had another meeting and the body of the hall told the officials not to go as they had already told them that they no longer recognise them as gov/body (so they didni go) ,BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GO TO THIS FIRST MEETING THE SHU SUSPENDED THEM FROM RACING PIGEONS,( im quite sure that they would have had to be told that failure to come to said meeting this would happen ,BUT THEY WERE NOT)  due to the political nature of the suspention the rpra kept out of it as the members in question were indeed already members of the rpra . they tried to suspend me when i left the shu fed (renfrewshire) to join glasgow they tried to debt suspend me saying i had left the fed after the agm, but our club agm was after fed one ,and that is were you resign your club,ps i was not at the fed agm .

They never got 2/3rd majority so broke the constitution rule.

i was under the impression the shu and all unions were under the eye of the confederation of unions this seems strange that they are allowed to suspend members just for being rpra members or failing to fly with shu

If you want to post about the suspensions of Virtue Luke Nisbet and Bell please get the facts of the matter right. The only bit you have correct is that the Fed held a meeting. The proposal to leave the SHU was defeated and Mr Nisbet closed the meeting without allowing any other discussion on the matter. Also at the time of the meeting Mr Nisbet had people stealing our baskets etc from the hall where they were kept. These are facts not the fiction spread by others.

there seems to be no end to the unrest within the shu why on earth dont they all just get on with it instead of flexing there power and just get everyone together and fly as one??/ one great big meeting and get it over with.

if you join a club your club then submits your name to the fed at the start of the year

so you are automaticaly a member through your club

your club submits a list of members every year who will be liable for fed fees

if you resign from your club your name is omitted from the submitted list

so you never actually apply to the fed personally for membership or have to resign personally

its all done through your club

 

our club AGM is in september but the list is not submitted to the fed till the start of the year

its the clubs responsibility to have their a.g.m b4 the feds a.g.m...thought this was normal practise?

reason being that any defaulters then can be reported to the fed before their a.g.m.

then in turn they will be reported to the union.

 

im sec of my club ..have been for 4-5 yrs...would never have our a.g.m after the fed.

but to each their own.

Take it the Lots of fanciers you have spoken to will be on the side of the supended ones which means you have only had their side of the story. I do agree with the suspensions as these people left me with nothing but now we are on the up got money in the bank and the most harmony we have ever had.

i totally agree with there suspension by the shu but disagree with the rpra allowing suspended membera into there union.I was part of that meeting it was bang out of order nesbitt and company had already decided the outcome because they were already stealing the baskets from gladsmuir hall.SO THEY SHOULD BE SUSPENDED FROM ALL UNIONS.

I totally agree with henrik the real east of scotland fed [sHU] is being run with harmony throughout. Its being run by the members and the top table  not just the top table as before
