Can all members please note that there is a change to the racepoint that we will be flying from at the weekend. Due to the unsuitability of the site at Kircaldy for liberating birds safely we have secured a private liberation site at Cowdenbeath. Having reviewed the video of the liberation last week it was quickly deemed that the carpark in Kirkcaldy was wholely unacceptable as a liberation site and it was not in the interests of the birds to proceed with this option.

The new site at Cowdenbeath is secure and is much better for a liberation and is closer to the motorway and hence easier to get to. We will also have access to toilet facilities and running water. Alex will post some photos of the site for you to view.

All club secretaries will have been e-mailed distances today for the new liberation site.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank George Duthie for making this possible and to Alex Wight for going and checking out the site and taking photos of it along with another two sites that we looked at. This would not have been possible without both of these guys giving up their time to help out. Their help is greatly appreciated by myself and the rest of the officials.
