Guest JonesyBhoy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Im not 100%.. hotrod will know better bout this year.. But i dont think the west have ever won the fed more times in a season than the east.. But thats not the point.. its about trying to improve returns and racing.. and trying to give everyone a chance to build a team..

Guest frank dooman Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 well you wont get better returns than you have from the racepoints you want to get rid of, youve moved the goalposts again, i was thinking that as well strange one get rid of the race points you got 100% returns from and move to the area you lost 50% from thats clever :-/ :-/
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 How do you know..?? we've never raced down the middle of Scotland..?? As regards this years returns.. fair enough cockenzie was fine.. but then they start going down... Is this thru the initail training and racing due east..?? thats my point..

Guest JonesyBhoy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 The club got its own transporter.. so were all gona try a different line.. It may not work..but its worth a try..
Guest stb- Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 The club got its own transporter.. so were all gona try a different line.. It may not work..but its worth a try.. Thats the good thing about pigeons we can all do our own thing, and that can be the difference between 1st and 2nd

As regards this years returns.. fair enough cockenzie was fine.. but then they start going down... Is this thru the initail training and racing due east..?? thats my point.. last year there was east in the wind a few races where do you think the birds would have been east, middle, or west .
Guest stb- Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 last year there was east in the wind a few races where do you think the birds would have been east, middle, or west . Danny do you mean where would the winners have been ??
Guest bigda Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Danny do you mean where would the winners have been ?? just to ask jonesey bhoy he recond he dident fly down the middle ;D ;D
Guest frank dooman Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 no i dont think thats why they are going down at all others fed members are not loseing allot at otterburn i dont believe thats the case if the birds can get from cockenzie they must have covered the same area at the home end surly
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Had a few shandies have we Bigda..??
Guest bigda Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Had a few shandies have we Bigda..?? yep just tuning up eech
Guest stb- Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 no i know what he means the east wind will blow then over to the west anyway so your birds would be comming from the middle, i no that the majority of mine would come back from the west in this type of race
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 What i keep tryin to explain is the birds only can come up the middle.. due to the valley we live in... regardless of the wind.. east or west wind only means they'll be on the left or the right of the river leven.. So when we race from the east for instance and its a west wind... the doos fly straight in to the wind.. then have to fly south, still in to a west wind.. then turn the dog leg and start heading north / west.. still in to a west wind..

Delboy Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Thats the good thing about pigeons we can all do our own thing, and that can be the difference between 1st and 2nd Not true Bob, some folk arent allowed to do their own thing, without getting sent to Coventry. :B :-/ >

Is this about loosing pigeons or just not winning???? :-/ :-/ just looking at the introductory post, racing east chassing fanciers away. why would anyone get chased away with 100% returns, :-/ :o
