It was clearly indicated on the race programme card that Ypres was the scc race and they were handed out at the start o the season so the decision must have been made longer than 48 hrs

Decision was made MONTHS ago at the delegates meeting and delegates from the Feds involved were ALL in attendance.

As stated it was on the race sheets which were handed out before the racing even started in April/

Is the midland fed part of the Scottish Central combine peter ?

Yes. The Midland Fed card states 19/7/14 SCC 500 mile race. If you look back the forum "Aye Ready" in the North West gave the information out which surprised us all.

:animatedpigeons: Hi

Just to clarify things and hopefully put an end to all this.

The SCC meeting was held in February and ALL THREE feds involved were in attendance that evening, it was agreed on that evening that Ypres would be the racepoint and would hopefully increase the birdage as it had been in decline over the past years, the date was also set on the evening.

I can assure you the NW & central fed made the race sheets up as per the agreement on the evening and if for any reason you have been mislead then it would be good practice to follow the correct procedure and contact your point of contact in writing.

I was in attendance at the meeting and also viewed the minute of what transpired on the evening.

Hopefully this put and end to playground title tattle.

One other thing i would like to clarify : I believe a comment was made by you yesterday that i had joined another fed - i can confirm this is totally untrue, i have not applied to join any other fed and have no intention of doing so however i wish every the fed and fancier the very best. Childish ropmours yet again.

Should you wish to discuss this any further please feel free to contact me by telephone.

Firstly none of my group of friends knew about a change in dates untill Martin posted it which left me and others who normally participate in the Combine out on a limb.

Secondly I have never mentioned your name as I dont even know who you are so the comment you heard regarding changing Feds is nothing more than misinformation. However for all that wish to know I was accepted yesterday as an Individual Member into Almond Valley Federation so perhaps somebody you were talking to has had their wires crossed.
