Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 defo 5 different lofts robert, IB has said they have discussed it and its still the same 5 includes the member who,s birds are bieng marked alaways thot it was 4 frank , used to start as soon as 4 appeared untill the rest arrived
THE FIFER Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 yes rpra but marking was allways 5 with the shu so they must have changed the rule fifer has all ready said 5 and also some one else i think you must have 5 members with seperate lofts to form a club, at marking basketing, no member can participate in race marking or basketing his own birds, other than to present them to a munimum of four responcible operators/members/organisers, so it looks like there must be 5 , and none of the four can be partners of that member,

THE FIFER Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 thats what i thought archie thats from the rule book frank, so partners wouldnt count as 2 of the 5

THE FIFER Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Why would you need 4 to mark, you only need one writing, one on the rubbers and one to handle, because it union rules :-/
Guest IB Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 It's 5 needed for race marking too; The owner / member handing his/her birds over + 4 others. I know that our club marking doesn't start till 5 present in the hall. Rules are there to ensure security.

JADE Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Why would you need 4 to mark, you only need one writing, one on the rubbers and one to handle, for security reasons. the more present the less chance of malpractice
Guest stb- Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 for security reasons. the more present the less chance of malpractice and its the rules aswell
Williedoo Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 you only need 4 for basketing and 2 paying shu fees the rest can be made up with members from other clubs ;) Don't quite get this as every Fed member pays a SHU fee through a club.
Ian McKay Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Don't quite get this as every Fed member pays a SHU fee through a club. Steve's rules he makes them up as he goes along ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D That's the regime he's been in for the last ten years :o :o
Taylorsloft Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Don't quite get this as every Fed member pays a SHU fee through a club. you can be in two clubs the same 5 members but two would have to pays shu fees for one club and 3 paying for the other club .you need to do this to keep the club with the shu ;)

walterbmasson Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 dont know but i know it has happened in scotland so you can top fed with 10 birds ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D compeating with 10 members ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D or last race one sending it to last race post or courier ;D ;D ;D ;D and who would do the race controlling ;D may be hold over stuart :-/ :-/ :-/
Guest Davy Fleming Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 All you need is 5 members paying 4 different club fees and duplicating into them all and you have a FED
