We normally use Noro-mectin to controll feather lice Ivor-mectin before that

This year a couple of drops on the back of the neck on our young birds has failed to get rid of the lice

Ive just bought a new bottle so not sure if it has been change Or our birds has built up a resistance to it

Just wondered if anyone could reccomend an alternative to it Deb

I have used Noromectin and it is quite a lot weaker than Ivormectin and Moxidectin - and is also available in more than one strength - I used the 0.08% w/v one a few years ago, but it is an oral solution - never used it on the back of the neck (would need far too many drops to be effective)

we have found after prolonged use this becomes totally ineffective regardless of strength
