deb Posted July 8, 2014 Report Posted July 8, 2014 We normally use Noro-mectin to controll feather lice Ivor-mectin before thatThis year a couple of drops on the back of the neck on our young birds has failed to get rid of the liceIve just bought a new bottle so not sure if it has been change Or our birds has built up a resistance to itJust wondered if anyone could reccomend an alternative to it Deb

REDCHEQHEN Posted July 8, 2014 Report Posted July 8, 2014 I have used Noromectin and it is quite a lot weaker than Ivormectin and Moxidectin - and is also available in more than one strength - I used the 0.08% w/v one a few years ago, but it is an oral solution - never used it on the back of the neck (would need far too many drops to be effective)
