rockinrick Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 hi guys an gals , i let my birds out today and this ruddy great bird flew over , it was same size roughly as a bird i got in this pic jus following my small team :-/ :-/ :-/ > :'(
sapper756 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I think if a hawk was that close, your birds would be scattered all over the sky, and not still batching. But then again who knows!
aarden Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 i dont know wat it is mate, but could it be the lochness monster
rockinrick Posted October 13, 2006 Author Report Posted October 13, 2006 dunno wat it is but its a big bird , a friend reckons it could be a juvenile seagull , :-/ :-/ :-/ :B : :D
Guest Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Looks like the silouhette of a woody to me, I have a young woody every day is trying to fly with my birds. If it aint a woody then my next best guess would be jackdaw.
mac1 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 defo not a bird of prey.possible stray r woody maybe
Roland Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Agree Mac1 100% not a speed merchant of the skies.
johnny11 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 The Buzzard has made a great reassurgance in the Uk was it brown? John
rockinrick Posted October 17, 2006 Author Report Posted October 17, 2006 dont know colour but was big bird as you can see , the bird is lot higher than my team jus circling and then when i took the pic it was heading same way , it didnt bother birds they are used to seeing big birds , ie gulls and crows
gangster Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 prob a buzzard looking at its size would not bother the birds...
