Here in Greengairs it rains every day ,last week I only had them out 3 hours ,this week only 4 hours , I am away at 7 in morning and not home till 6 so can't alter when I exercise them , they are no where near fit and we are in the fourth race , getting a bit fed up getting up a 5 every day . There,s the rain on again .*expletive removed*.

Tony C Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 They could be as fit as fleas but in changeable crap weather w/hood cocks don't perform at their best. Get them out and get them fit then wait for a more settled spell to concentrate on getting them in good condition.

It's my first try at widow and not sure it's for me , I have a few very nice hens and not the room for roundabout .Have had them out in all weathers but they don,t like it and can't get them in racing condition in this weather imo.
