Guest Vic Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Thanks Wiley, i still can't sort the photo scene out. I sent you the photos via e mail to check out size, in case that was the problem. So seeing they have appeared on basics, I,ll add a few words to them. The first one, is a young Vic collecting the L,pool Amal Niort trophy from the great Les Kilshaw of Halewood, arguably the greatest ever Liverpool fancier. Notice a youngish Bob Moffatt sitting on the left. The second one was taken by my pond on a warm summers day, showing a pair of nestmates from the stock loft. I am still trying to sort the photo problem out, Cheers, Vic. ;D

Guest Vic Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 GANGSTER! You certainly do know quite a bit. No, I have none of the white Cock which is a pity. Certainly was a good bird, but was unfortunate to be bred in the same year as 5715, which was raced by the late Jack Bradshaw in my club. What a pigeon that was! I think my whiten had 6 or 7 second club cards to it, but did manage to beat 5715 on a few occasions. I can't remember how many times 5715 topped the Amal, but he was always up in the first half dozen when raced. 5715 was later sold to a good pigeon man, A
Guest Vic Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 GANGSTER! You certainly do know quite a bit. No, I have none of the white Cock which is a pity. I can't remember how many times 5715 topped the Amal, but he was always up in the first half dozen when raced. 5715 was later sold to a good pigeon man, Alfie Morris, who in turn sold it to Frank George of Wellingborough. Frank renamed 5715 "Mr Toppit". Jack Bradshaw used to race 5715 to a big youngster, and I mean BIG, (up to 6-8 weeks old). What a pigeon this would have been on todays widowhood system! Another point, sometimes it would come racing back as if scatterbrained and spend lost time on a roof down the road.(and still win) Yes! a one off indeed. Cheers, Vic.
gangster Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 ill remind you also of a silver hen maybe you only raced against her.......
gangster Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 ill remind you also of a silver hen maybe you only raced against her....... I KNOW YOUR ON VIC .......
Guest Vic Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 Gangster, sometimes I go to the loft for an hour or so, and leave the pc on. The only silver hen that comes to mind, belonged to Davie Williams, and a good hen too. There may have been others. Which one are you referring to? Vic.
gangster Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I THINK IT WAS HER I BELIEVE IT WAS HER THE WHITE AND ANOTHER THAT WERE THE 3 TO BEAT.....................
