L did think that but being reading allot about genetics on the web and its all abit confusing but one article l read said there wasnt such things as throwbacks might have read it wrong .do you if there was any featherlegs in kirkys yellows as this youngun is bread down from a yellow l got off him.

He had most of them from me there were none in mine but did have some in Aarden crosses and in Tournier ;)

the one he got from me mark was from the big wattled yellow cock from T D LOFTS at blackpool that had feathers down legs and over his ring so thats where it comes from.

I have a few feathered legged pigeons in the loft and they are all bred down from Bob Mc Donald's Ko Nipius/Aarden family.

your correct jimmy the gits family nearly all had them also had an old grooter cock with feathered legs to dont see much of it now days unless its one of the fancy breeds
