BIRDS OF PREY

stopped at 5 locations today routing out training areas/line

3 out of five locations i stopped at i saw hawks hovering

this just made me wonder getting out of the van at 5 differnt random locations and seeing hawks at 3 of them

the skies must be alive with them

or hawkeye been reading my training notes and just waiting on the basket arriving

Our birds have been locked in all winter and we have started letting them out over the last two weeks every other day, in total combining cocks and hens they have been out about 8 times and on Sat we found a stripped 2 year old cock in next doors garden, I had them out today, but theirs no joy in it, your worried all the time.:cry-blow:

what you meant to do with latebreds surely require pre training

and surely the old birds require excircise to bring them into shape after long winter holed up

think birds will out run hawks once fit but got to get em fit first hmmmm

Had my birds out Sunday and Percy made a dive at them ! If I had the ets on I would have had 50 plus doos in under 10 seconds what a trap lol, open hole teaches them when to be up or in .

if you have latebreds m8 they must be trained or they are no good to you you just have to put up with the bop or move them on like i do ive had 12 tosses with my latebreds 3 have been taken so far and i expect to lose more but thats how it is now you will get 2 maybe 3 tosses then hit so move the birds around when your training them you dont have to go to far 12 to 20 miles is enough to wise them up then into a training van when they start

Its an absolute nightmare we are overrun with bops near me just started flying out after winter lockdown been hit and birds taken everytime out only a matter of time before pigeon keeping ceases to exist what will they eat then? Filling forms in signing petition etcis a total waste of time imnot far of throwing in the towel what needs to be done is stop giving to charity and use that money to get in the public eye and let the public know whats happening in real life if some positive action like this isnt taken soon there wont be any racing or charity money and we all know this charity is very admirable but as they say charity begins at home act now or coninue sitting on your hands and wait for the sports demise the choice is yours
