bibendium Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 It varies, some guys are really good a breaking birds. and only keep them in a day or two. others like to keep them a bit longer. I moved mine last July and tried my YB which had been flying at the old place out in 3 days half of them broke in a day or two the rest i have never seen again. the old birds were kept in till a week or so ago when I tried them and only lost 2. I know of a local fancier who let his out 1 day after moving to the other side of town and broke the majority very quickly. No easy answers m8.
