cannot for the love of me understand why anybody would want or enter one,give the birds a winter break in my opinion as they deserve it with the season being long enough as it is

hears my main reason then their is the prize and pool money at least £500 1st prize.with 1 of the grand daughters showen she can sprint a bit with little training she will be 1 of mine going.i would like to thank STB for his help and advice in giving birds good prep for this race

 

it is danderhall club that runs in and has done so for 19 years.danderhall is member of pentland fed but welcomes members from other feds to the race.

last year 49 lofts enterd 313 birds.it is a very competitive race.

 

last years winniers b kinear so if the facts of the race stay the same you can count them out of winning this year. as it has never been won by the same fancier 2 years running in the last 19 years. but then again their is always a 1st time.
