showman Posted June 16, 2013 Report Posted June 16, 2013 would this work out right people 15mm thick chipboard in 8ftx4ft sheet to get 4 widowhood boxes I need to cut it up into ??? 152cm x 40cm x273cm x 40cm x5 When I cut, I use the following sizes : 5 pieces.....14.25" x 28.5"2 pieces.....14.25 x 65"This leaves an approx. gap of 4" or so at the bottom, which lifts the bottom box off the ground, and I just cover the gap in with plywood. I would also advise 'pushing the boat out' a bit, by using 18mm plywood. IMHO.PS These measurements suit the standard plastic widowhood fronts, not the rounded plastic ones.
