my opinion m8 is they need time to settle, some of mine brought in last oct/nov and hen birds only just settling, cocks settled lot quicker,

I bought 4 pair in a few months ago, already paired, But them in the loft they went to a box only just got the 1st egg yesterday... they wasn't over weight, just unsettled give them time and you'll be sik off seeing eggs! wish you all the best with the birds Mate :)

i agree with Kirky but if the hens are too fat split them fae the cocks and gie them nothing but water with multivits in it and defo no grub for 5 days then handle them again and you will see different pigeons that certainly wont be too fat to lay :emoticon-0157-sun:

Done it myself a few times with stock hens and it never fails and does them no harm either....

make sure they have water and fresh grit every day

Disagree with 5 days 24/48 hrs yes
