Guest geordiejen Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 does anyone know of any problems that may occur if whilst treating for cocci a bird has been found with canker.i am more than half way through treating for cocci with coxoid.obviously the canker treatment is an antibiotic which shouldnt have any of the same ingredients but not sure if i should wait until the full treatment has been administered.this particular bird was brought in from a mate in november, been isolated for 2 weeks and has been in the main loft since.since canker levels can rise when a bird or 2 has symtoms i feel i must treat the whole flock.
greenlands Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 Did you know the birds had a cocci problem before you started treating, nine times out of ten cocci is brought on by another problem such as canker. If there is a canker prob. mate I would treat for it.
gulkie Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 You can buy a 3-1 treatment for canker worms and cocci and treat them all in oneBut there should be zero percent tolerance with canker and worms
just ask me Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 some drugs can be mixed others cant be careful
