Need a little help with this one lads and lasses.

I would like to fly roundabout next season and don't want to go to a lot of work altering the loft if it can be done an easy way.

I have a loft which as widowhood boxes in,can I split these boxes, put a perch on the front and use as r/t.?

Or will they be too small ?

Never flown r/t.and have plenty of time, that's why I've always flew natural.

I have the same sort of set-up,nest boxes closed off but also a set of perches in the loft. The nest boxes come in handy if hens start pairing. To keep it really simple the hens just flyout/trap in to that section and not roundabout. They only see their own nest box before/after a race, the idea being this should make them keener. If I send them midweek I let them through into their own box when the cocks are out at exercise this motivates them without disturbing the cocks. When the hens return from the midweek race they trap to their own section.Hope this maybe of some help.
