andy Burgess Posted October 21, 2012 Author Report Posted October 21, 2012 Andy, First house I bought was compulsory purchased 2 years later at double what I paid for it. Happy days LOLhave seen it happen Peter , and when like yours a new purchase ,happy days money wise ,but a family home for 200 years ,many generations ,and with no wish to sell for profit or any other reason ??
peter pandy Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 Sorry Andy, missed the programme and my appologies for making light out of others misfortune. I personally cannot concieve what it would be like to have my abode of a life-time taken away from me but had I spent over 50 years in a house then I do think it would take more than a scrap of paper to have me removed. I read in the paper to-day what scumbag Saville had to say regarding "all I have to do is make a phone call" and fortunately for me and unfortunately for anybody upsetting me or anyone in my family I can and have done the same. !!!!

peter pandy Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 Seeing more clearly !! Have been to specsavers. Sometimes age and experience is a hindrance because we are stuck in our rut, we dont want change because we are out our comfort zone and dont want to leave it. The unfortunate problem with the doo game is everyone has an opinion nowadays whether its right or wrong. In the past fanciers looked to the more knowledgable members and reckoned their opinions must be right. I was frowned upon 50 years ago because I dared to have an opinion and refused to be a sheep and have not changed. I will discuss politics with any one especially Scotsmen but I digress. East West ?? To me Lanarkshire members have been suckered into going East and no doubt this remark will bring some out the wood work.By the way I am on my 2nd glass of home made wine @ 20 proof.
